Backport driver workaround in KWin

Hi,

We've gotten a lot of reports that a workaround for one driver issue
in KWin 6.4.4 uncovered an even worse driver issue... I disabled that
workaround  with
https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/commit/7d36003cb073ed2ad48b2743883db993106c347a
in the 6.4 branch already, but I recommend distros to backport it
before the next bugfix release, as the bug is very disruptive.
