Can Plasma 5.9 depend on Qt 5.7

I would recommend to Debian to keep to Qt 5.6 which is the LTS version. 
Qt 5.6 will be maintained over (most of?) the life time of Debian 9. Qt 
5.7 will be out of support pretty soon.
