howto use face tags

[jean-daniel dodin]

Hello,

I try to set face tags on my photos (120k). I can setup them by hand,
one after the other, but its long and boring

I still have *70000* unknown faces with no names and I can't make
digikam name them automatically.

May be I don't manage well the software :-?

I follow this page

https://docs.digikam.org/en/left_sidebar/people_view.html

I already have a lot of faces tagged (by hand)

if I open the left "personnes" menu (I guess this is "peoples" in
english), I have the people list top left.

it's there that I have a people names "inconnus" (unknown). I can't
manage to make digikam find the name.

it seems I have the relevant files

any hint?

thanks
