Dear digiKAM Users,
I am wondering if you can help me to find a way to speed up batch processing significantly.
Currently, we need to process hundreds of images and we fin it very challenging to handle the batch processing lists.
It takes very long to load the list of selected images before I can add commands to the selected files. Then it takes also a significant amount of time to wait until the commands.
What wonders me most is that when I like to delete a batch list it takes almost the same to than to set up the list.
It would be really great to get some hints to speed up the process over all. Perhaps it is also possible to think about a significant speed gain by handling the batch lists in memory rather than store them in a file.
All tips are highly appreciated by you.
Nonetheless, I like to thank you for developing and enhancing such a marvellous piece of software!
Martin
