Is 8.6.0 face recognition supposed to handle animals?

Dear all,

Thank you. For me it is slightly different as I do botanical pictures,  
etc.,  and I have 1000s, it could help a lot with fast classification.  
Also, it oculd help all poeple who do the same. Being all volunteers,  
having an open source tool would be a major plus.

One thing I was wondering was whether we can link it to such existing  
tools as PlantNet.
