Subject: Deleting albums and images with other apps
I would like to delete a system folder/digiKam album and the images in it.
With the photo editor I use (Capture One) it is better to do that from
there.
I was wondering if the same applies to diiKam? Which one should I use the
delete the folder and images?
How does digiKam handle it if you take such actions from another app such as
a photo editor or Windows Explorer? Is it better to have digiKam open at the
same time or closed?
When you open digiKam and there are albums and images that are now no longer
there that were there last time, is that a problem for digiKam? Is there
info in the dK database or somewhere that is now "confused" or
"disconnected"?
Edit: Also, if you alter the folder/album name or an image filename with
another app, is it better to have digiKam open or closed at the time?
I've checked the Digikam Manual but it doesn't tell me what I want to know
Regards
Boris
