Hi James,
Yes, that can indeed be the problem if the path is over 260 characters. For
digiKam to support long paths on Windows (if it has been enabled in Windows),
we need to link digiKam.exe with a corresponding manifest file.
I will add this for digiKam-8.8.0 as we already do for UTF-8 support.
