slowness when applying metadata

Hi

I notice some slowness when applying metadata.
When DK just started , applying metadata is taking a couple of seconds, 
but as I'm applying  more and more metadata , its taking more and more 
time to execute , couple  of minutes and even more !
if I restart DK, back to a correct execution time for the 1st , but 
execution time is increasing again as I'm applying metadata

time is increasing when executing "tag/apply" but also when executing 
synchronization (using lazzy mode)

Using DK8.6 on windows 10 with 16G RAM
