After upgrading to DK 8.6 no images can be opened in my collection

Probably because running digiKam from a terminal inherits the right to
use the local disk.

In the MacOS settings, add right to digiKam to use the full disk
access, as explained in the online doc.

It's a known MAcOS issue and reproducible with other open source
applications not notarized.

No. My time is limited, especially when it comes to dealing with Apple.
