There is also the possibility to use Rapid Photo Downloader. I use it with my Android phone without issues.

At least I didn’t find a way to do this.
Therefore I’m using the app PhotoSync for that purpose.

I'm a new user of DigiKam so please forgive me if this question has been asked previously.
Does DigiKam have any ability to directly read photos taken/saved to the Apple Photo App rather than me having to export them manually into DigiKam?
Thank you.
