Print Creator - Custom Layout on A6 paper

Running DK 8.1.0 on Linux Mint.

I am trying to use Print Creator and failing, can anyone help please?

I want to print an image 6.3mm square on A6 paper.

I select my image, open Print Creator, Select Page Layout - select
Custom and set to 6.3 X 6.3, Select my printer, click Page settings and
select Page Size A6.

At this point the image has changed to 9x13cm rather than custom as I
had selected.

What am I doing wrong?
