AppImage not longer working since upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04

Dear all,
since I upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04. I get the error message given below.
(also with an AppImage that worked before) My feeling from googling is this
is a general Ubuntu issue. I have no idea whether some changes to the
AppImage could help.
Anyway Ubuntu 24.04 comes with digikam 8.2.0 So for the moment I am fine.
