Hi folks! I take pictures of wildlife for a conservation group and I need
to compare an image's location to several humdred of our known field marker
locations spread around our survey area. I've acquired my own Google maps API
key to access clean satellite imagery.
I can think of several possible routes to put pins on my digikam map interface
but I'm not sure how to implement any nor could I find the solution in the
documentation.
1 use a custom map in digikam that I created in Google mymaps. My preferred
option because new points are added regularly and the locations change
every year.
2 batch upload the coordinate points from spreadsheet to digikam.
Or perhaps there is another solution? Looking forward to your suggestions.
