Help needed

Hello,

I have a problem that seems to affect quite a few people but I cannot 
find a solution anywhere.
I am running the latest version of MX Linux and I use the latest version 
of xfce as a desktop.  The computer configuration is top and there are 4 
disk drives integrated.
When I start digital it does not show any disk drives apart from the SSD 
boot uefi drive. I can manually add the path from a disk and it will 
scan the folders. The tree is perfect but not one single file has been 
added.
My photo collection is about 209k.
If anyone can help me I would be very grateful!
