Digikam face database

I'm trying to learn how to query the face database to list images that have
not had the faces updated.
I would like to run a sqlite query that would list them, but while I've
figured out how this works with most of the other tables (tags, etc) I
can't figure out how face data is stored.
Could someone point me in the right direction? Are unconfirmed and unknown
faces stored differently?

I assume I would have to run it on the `recognition.db` file?
