digiKam 8.5 under macOS (Apple Silicon) - problem displaying HEIC of iPhone 16 pro

The problem is fixed in digiKam-8.6.0, pre-release version here:
https://files.kde.org/digikam/
As a workaround for digiKam-8.5.0 you can enable reading of metadata with
ExifTool.
