digiKam 8.5 under macOS (Apple Silicon) - problem displaying HEIC of iPhone 16 pro

Hi,

Any news on this issue? I have the exact same problem as Manuel in digiKam
with HEIC files from iPhone 16 pro. (I.e. contrast clipping in preview and
full screen, but thumbnails correct).
I'm using digiKam 8.5.0 on an Ubuntu 24.04.
