Can't delete Caption from photos

This is a strange one so I hope I'll be able to explain it properly.

I have a new phone Oneplus 12 (makes great pictures BTW) and there is an 
interesting behavior when editing Caption with DK (version 8.5.0 from 
2024-07-27).

When I first import a picture into DK there is some random number 
displayed as Caption properties (see attached screenshots for more 
details). Then I use the editor to delete this field in 
Captions/Description tool and when I do Apply the filed is replaced 
automatically with another value like: oplus_XXXXXXX.

So I would like to delete this as well but it does not work: I delete 
the value and after I Apply the changes this value comes back on its 
own! If I replace this value with any other value (even a single space 
character) it works and the value is changed. But then if I delete the 
(new) value and after I do Apply the value is again replaced by the 
oplus_XXXXXXX one.

I looked into the EXIF fields of the photo and I found out that the 
oplus_XXXXXXX value is in the UserComment field. I'm wondering how DK 
looks and compares Captions fields and if this is expected behavior or 
is it some kind of a bug? I didn't notice this kind of stuff with my 
older phones and my camera.
