Good morning Remco,

ThumbsPlus creates its own database fields in a separate table for the specified custom fields.
These fields are displayed in a separate mask and the user can fill them as desired and also search for them.

The contents of the custom fields are only in the database and are not written to the photo or overwritten with META data from the photo.

This makes it possible to maintain additional data in ThumbsPlus, which can be read by third-party software via the database without changing the photo itself by writing the data into the photo.
