[digiKam-users] Remote access or app?

I have my collection on a NAS. It is shared to clients via CIFS.

Each client may have their own Digikam installation and their own
digikam.db and their own tags, etc. locally.

But the actual photos reside on the NAS and in a shared folder structure.

Each night, I use Sigal[1] to generate a static web gallery from the
collection.

This collection is served using a simple static webserver. Any webserver
such as nginx, apache, etc. will do.

The gallery can be accessed by mobile devices such as mobile phones,
ipads, etc. when they are on the LAN. When they are external, they may
use a VPN.
