Digikam 8.10: External entry of geo loc not taken into account

If a reread metadata from the file from the Item Menu does not show the 
geolocation in digiKam, then please send me the file to my private email 
address.

You should only activate monitoring for external changes to the albums if you 
actually need this option and make changes to images externally while digiKam 
is running.
However, you must then also activate the option in the digiKam metadata 
settings to read the metadata again if there are changes, so that geolocation 
changes are also scanned in this case.
