Maik' solution was the good : The menu can be activated in the context menu of the right mouse button over a thumbnail or preview.

Good evening,
I use digikam 7.10 under Windows10.
I lost the menu bar.
The CTRL +M does not work it tells me that the CTRL +M key sequence is ambiguous and that no action will be triggered.
Do you have a solution because I can no longer use Digikam.
I tried to install 8.1.0 but the loading time is very long and the response times are unbearable.

The menu can be activated in the context menu of the right mouse button over a thumbnail or preview. As of digiKam-8.0.0, we also have a hamburger menu in case the menu bar is hidden.
digikam-8.1.0 is by no means slower than digikam-7.10.0. A database update is carried out at the first start, which may take a while. If you have already started digiKam-8.1.0, you should no longer use digiKam-7.10.0, the database is no longer compatible.

I was dealing with this problem a long time ago. We definitely save the font
style. Good to test with simple fonts that only have bold and italics. But
"Condensed Bold" and "Bold" have the same value. We look for the entry with
the value in the list and use it. There is no difference in presentation.

Sounds as though you've, accidentally, set up another action with the
same shortcut.

Close Digikam, and open it's settings file (no idea where to look in
Windows, sorry). Search for all occurrences of ctrl+m and delete the
one(s) you do not wish to use.
You may wish to backup settings first.
