Digicam taking 0 seconds to scan for duplicates

  I downloaded Digicam 8 to deal with my vast number of duplicate pictures.

I've rebuilt the thumbnails and fingerprints several times - when I 
click on "Find Duplicates" it tells me it's taken 0.00.00 to find no 
duplicates. So it's not scanning the picture library at all.

This happens in both Tools-Find Duplicates and in the Duplicates-Find 
Duplicates tab.

Is this a Bug?
