[digiKam-users] Write embedded information

Hi,

Embedded information, eg metadata, has multiple options for handling in digiKam. As I understand: 

- In the database (always)
- Inside the object (when applicable, optional)
- In associated XMP-file (optional)

This question is not about what is correct or wrong. I am curious how you do, and why. Anyone who wants, please share your view and experience.
