[digiKam-users] When to rebuild the thumbnails

Why do you want to recreate the thumbnails? The thumbnail will be recreated by 
digiKam when certain metadata changes are detected. There is hardly any reason 
for this, we only have a bug report that under certain circumstances when 
renaming images externally, the correct thumbnail for the image is no longer 
displayed.
