Thank-you for your fast return. I tried to use the script but I was not successful. This is what I did:

I entered the following text from the site you referenced:

Thank you for your quick reply. Could you please  provide me with the details that I need to put in the External Script plugin to call ImageMagick to superimpose text information extracted from image metadata? I am not very computer literate being on a MS Window environment.

Directly with digiKam in Image Editor, the Insert Text do not provide this feature.

It's the same in BQM, except with the External Script plugin, where you can call ImageMagick for ex to superimpose text information extracted from image metadata.

This BQM tool can call a bash script and deal with image processed in batch.

Directly with digiKam in Image Editor, the Insert Text do not provide this feature.

It's the same in BQM, except with the External Script plugin, where you can call ImageMagick for ex to superimpose text information extracted from image metadata.

This BQM tool can call a bash script and deal with image processed in batch.
