[digiKam-users] Database and Albums share between two environnements

You should wait for digiKam-8.0.0. Different operating systems have different 
paths to the albums. In any case, creating a backup of your database is easy 
with SQLite, since only the digikam4.db has to be backed up, all other 
databases can be replaced. With digiKam-8.0.0 the image collection must then 
be changed to a network collection. This is easily possible with the update 
function in the collection settings. Then another path can be "attached" to 
the network collection with digiKam-8.0.0.
