I am using portable versions of all the open source programs like Gimp,
IrfanView, FSView etc. Since digiKam does not have a off the shelf portable
version I am doing the following:
01. Download the latest version say digiKam-7.x.x-Win64.tar.xz the from
https://download.kde.org/stable/digikam/.
02. Open the file in 7-Zip and extract all the files to the portable
installation directory of digiKam.
03. Run the program with a command line switch pointing to the digiKamrc
file.
When a new version of digiKam is released do this process all over.
Am I doing it right?
