[digiKam-users] Digikam 7.7.0 Linux: NO SOUND when playing video's

I hope I replied the right way, this kind of user forum is new to me...
Thank you, I now can understand why Digikam 7.7.0 maybe is incompatible
with my Linux Mint 20.2 system
I did notice that Digikam 7.7.0 does NOT appear in the audio device
listing. As I said, 7.6.0 *does* appear when playing a video on that list.
I'm not sure what to do other than use 7.6.0 until the issue has been
solved?
It is good to know the are not many differences between 7.6.0 and 7.7.0
I am very impressed with the Digikam program, many thanks to all the people
making this possible.
