[digiKam-users] Digikam 7.7.0 Linux: NO SOUND when playing video's

I just noticed that I can’t hear any audio from the videos in the latest 7.8.0 appimage build either.

Hi,

Between 7.6.0 and 7.7.0, there is no major difference to play video.

Run digiKam from a console with the debug trace enabled as explained here :

... and report the console report from application here.

Q: did you use appimage linux bundle ?
