[digiKam-users] gmic plugin is not shown in digikam 7.7

I've installed the gmic .deb package on kubuntu 22.04 and I'm able to gmic
and gmic_qt from the command line.
But I don't see gmic in my digikam-plugins.
What additional steps do I have to take?
