[digiKam-users] Failed to connect to the camera

Hi,

I am trying to download files from an Android phone. It doesn't matter 
if I enable file transfer or PTP on the phone, digiKam always complain: 
"Failed to connect to the camera: Please make sure it is connected 
properly and turned on". Clicking on the "Retry" button does not help.

Downloading the files using the Gnome Files application works fine.

Are there some log files, or a procedure to pinpoint the issue?
