[digiKam-users] color profile saving

Digikam uses 0.26...
But exiv2 27.5 is (also) installed on my system. How can I make that
digikam uses it?
(I can save PNG's with embedded color-profile in Gimp, also using
ImageMagick. So somehow my system can, but digikam not...)
(I don't know what would be the side effects and if it would be
intelligent if I simply remove exiv2 0.26 from my system?)
