[digiKam-users] DigiKam in Windows not recognizing cameras

Hi,
Supporting Gphoto2 driver under windows is problematic as it needs a
replacement of the usb driver in the OS. Even if it works I'm not sure that
it will be the best solution.
In fact Windows provides a camera driver de facto (PTP and UMS as Gphoto2),
but we don't have code to dialog with this native API.
Also by experience, the Windows API changes reguliary and breaks all at
each major Windows version. So using the gphoto2 API will be better, but we
have the USB driver problem...
Well, nothing is perfect.
