[digiKam-users] Picking up with digiKam after some time away.

Not used digiKam or any other image software for a coule of years and am now picking up on an updated workstation.
My first question concerns graphics adaptors as the workstation has not previously required anything fancy in the graphics department and present machine uses either an AMD Radeon HD6450 or an NVIDIA Quadro NVS295.  Both are very old but work fine for normal desktop use but may be challenged in the GPU area.

I cannot afford anything brand new top of the range but am looking for a respectable second hand card which would fit my machines which are HP Z640 with fairly modest processors but reasonable quantity of memory (64GB ecc) and 2TB NVMe "drives."

I am looking for a card which makes full use of a GPU when using digiKam and hope somebody here will please suggest suitable possible options.
