[digiKam-users] Import window sees different EXIF data for MPG - is this expected?

Hi Remco,

Thanks for answering. I'm pretty sure the Import view is reading the tags
from the thm because:
* when I remove the thm file from the folder, the import view no longer
shows the additional metadata
* I have examined the mpg and thm files with exiftool (independent of
digiKam) and the additional metadata is only found in the thm file.

I did play around with adding thm as a named additional sidecar extension
in the settings, but it had no effect on the behaviour that I'm seeing in
this case.

Still confused as to why there is a difference in behaviour between the
import view and the main digiKam album view.

Kind regards,
Pete
