[digiKam-users] Is there an easy way to copy metadata to several images having entered it for one?

I very frequently take a few pictures, load them into Digikam and then
enter metadata (specifically Caption and Description usually) and then
realise that I should have entered the same Caption and Description
for all the pictures I have just loaded.

I know that if I did it right (by selecting all the images first) it
would do what I want but I nearly always forget to do this.

So, is there an easy way to copy Caption and Description to several
more images?  Yes, I know I can select the text, then select all the
destination images and then paste the text but is there a handier way?
