[digiKam-users] DK 7.1.0 and OpenCL

I use DK 7.1.0 appimage on Opensuse Leap 15.2

I just noticed:

settings > configure > miscellaneous > disable hardware acceleration
opencl

My system doesn't have opencl, but I have another system that can run
opencl, then I'll have to finish it's setup and xfer all the DBs and
the photos.

* Which operations benefit from the opencl?

I only use the DAM and it's quite large, multiple terabytes. But with
the coming 7.2, I will be starting to use the face recognition.

* Would I benefit from the opencl?
