[digiKam-users] Digikam + Mariadb failed to update the database schema

The problem is that MariaDB has been updating the internal database structure 
a lot recently. After an update, a job is started and the main database is 
updated with "mariadb-upgrade". I guess you are using the internal MySQL 
database? Read this bug report with the links to solve your problem
