[digiKam-users] DK 7.4 - NAS mysql/mariadb setup

Hi,
does anyone know about a good tutorial on how to set up DK 7.4 with
M(ysql)ariadb on a NAS?
I have found some old setups, but I guess that the DB structure is
different and it is now possible to run everything on NAS while keeping the
thumbnails local.

Would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction. I am
running a Synology NAS
