[digiKam-users] Drive crash. How to recover?

DK 7.3 on Manjaro

My 3.5" external drive (USB toaster) with all my images and DK
databases has crashed. I think that that drive is toast. partition
table is gone and smartctl cannot read anything on it.

I have a backup on an other 3.5" external drive (USB toaster)

The UUID are different. How do I reset the path & UUID for DK to read
the existing db?

or Do I start a new db and reimport everything? I have the xmps.
