[digiKam-users] Digikam 7 release question

I heard rumblings in the list about the DK 7.0 release being made
available in the Microsoft Store.  Is that still the intention? (else
why go to all the work supporting the MS development environment?)

I ask because many people don't "trust" an application that doesn't
come from the store, and also updates would automatically get pushed.
