[digiKam-users] Delete many tags at once?

DigiKam cataloged my screen wallpaper by mistake (my error). I now have 
way too many one time tags that have clogged up my tag list. Deleting 
them one by one is a non-starter. Is there any way to toss literally 
tens of tags at once? I do have lots of tags that I need to hang on to, 
making restarting the database also a non-starter.
