[digiKam-users] Search folder for duplicates. Not working?

Yes, I understand that. I performed a full duplicate search in the past, and
it takes a while.

When you right click an album, and search it for duplicates, what digikam
seems to do is selecting that album and performing a duplicate search.
However, very few duplicates are found. I expected that doing that would be
the equivalent of comparing each picture inside that folder with all
pictures in the database, but it is not. Manually searching picture per
picture finds more duplicates.

I assume digikam is only searching for duplicated pictures within that
folder, not comparing that folder to the rest of the database.
