Yes, just unzip to "/usr/share/digikam/colorschemes/". Does not work with the 
AppImage. Of course, a KF5 desktop also has an editor. But they are simple 
text files and easy to understand.
It should be possible to add the home directory as a search path. Then, color 
themes under "$HOME/.local/share/color-schemes/" would also be found.
Problem is the fusion style of the foreground and background colors changed.
