[digiKam-users] writing sidecar files configuration

thanks all for your answer

so I understand that "' - write to XMP sidecar for read-only item only" 
is enough if we want update in jpeg

what is the impact/"risk" if trying to use the option "both" ?

is it generating errors? (I set it from the past days and didn't see errors)
