digikam.import: Failed to initialize camera!
digikam.import: Libgphoto2 error: Could not claim the USB device ( -53 )
It's clear, your camera use the libGphoto2 driver which sound like broken
on your system. It's not a digiKam problem, but a low level library
dysfunction...
