[digiKam-users] Running Under WSL vs Running Windows Port?

With the (legit) improvements made to WSL in Windows 1909 I have been able
to get digiKam to run via AppImage.  It seems to be both stable and
performant.

Is there any reason I should run the Windows port over the AppImage (or
vise versa)?

(P.S. - Thanks in advance for not bashing (pardon the pun) me for not just
running everything on Ubuntu or similar.)
