[digiKam-users] Change the type of collection without re-adding

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a way to change the type of a collection from
'local' to 'network' without re-adding it. My samba share is mounted in
/home/user/Pictures so digiKam sees it as local.

Does digiKam treat local, remote and network collections differently
anyways?

Any tips would b appreciated.
