[digiKam-users] Can we see thumbnails without the ratings stars?

I don't use ratings, but the ratings stars take up almost half the available
space in thumbnail view.

Can thumbnail view be configured to show just the pictures, with the action
buttons above, but without the stars below?

Even if the blank areas above and below the stars was decreased, it would
greatly increase the number of pictures on the screen.
